SafeDraw™ brings those steps together through a secure connection to TPAL’s independent drawing systems. For instant win, SafeDraw™ connects to the Instant Win API and provides the customer’s interactive reveal. For a regular draw, eligible entries go into a pool and winners are selected at the scheduled draw time. Entries and results are timestamped and logged in both processes.

In the SafeDraw™ preallocated instant-win format, winning entry numbers are allocated before entries open and prize availability updates as prizes are claimed. In regular draws, the promotion’s terms explain the closing time, draw time and how winners will be notified. The right information depends on the type of draw.

SafeDraw™ securely calls the government certified random draw engine from Trade Promotions and Lotteries Pty Ltd. TPAL provides the RNG; SafeDraw™ handles the connection, supports fulfilment and presents the customer result. Instant win uses an Instant Win API connection; regular draws use TPAL’s Electronic Draw System to select winners from eligible entries at the draw time.
The approvals cover different systems: approval 1291 names the TPAL Instant Win System, version 1.1; approval 1224 names the TPAL Electronic Draw System, version 1. Read both documents and their conditions in our certification centre. These system approvals do not certify every aspect of a promoter’s promotion.
