Approval 1291 identifies the TPAL Instant Win System, version 1.1. This is the instant-win system approval, distinct from the regular electronic draw approval below.
TPAL provides the random number generation. SafeDraw™ connects the surrounding systems, supports fulfilment and presents the participant’s result. Read the instant-win guide for the difference between the API connection and the preallocated entry-number format offered by SafeDraw™.

A scheduled selection.
A regular draw selects from the eligible entry pool at the stated draw time. SafeDraw™ connects the provider’s systems to TPAL’s Electronic Draw System and presents the returned result.
Approval 1224 names the TPAL Electronic Draw System, version 1. It is the document for this regular-draw system, with its own system name, version and approval date.
This format does not use a preallocated list of winning entry numbers or the seven-day instant-win reveal. The promotion’s terms set out the entry cut-off, draw time, notification and claim steps.

The right context.
Both documents concern the named TPAL systems. They give promoters and reviewers an identifiable reference for that part of the process.
Each authorises electronic drawing of trade promotion lotteries under the Lottery and Gaming Regulations 2008, and states that the approval continues unless revoked or the approved specification is changed without prior approval. Those are the terms recorded in the historical documents.
For a current review, match the service and version in use to the appropriate approval and confirm its continuing application with the provider. The approvals do not certify the whole SafeDraw™ platform or endorse every promotion that uses it.
The organiser still needs to address the promotion’s own rules, permits, eligibility, prize arrangements and obligations in the Australian jurisdictions where it runs. Clear responsibilities and records help show how these parts work together.
