Independent draws. Clear records.
Review TPAL’s system approvals

Every entry.
A clear path to an outcome.

Instant win and regular draws take different paths to a result. Understand the timing, the technology and the records behind each.

Two ways to draw.
One commitment to clarity.

SafeDraw supports instant-win promotions and regular draws. Both connect to TPAL, with a different mechanism and timing for the result.

During the promotion

Instant win

An outcome without waiting for a later scheduled draw. An Instant Win API connects the promotion’s systems to the instant-win process.

Regular draws

Eligible entries form a pool. At the draw time set out in the promotion’s terms, TPAL’s regular draw system makes the random selection.

  1. 01Collect eligible entries
  2. 02Run the scheduled draw
  3. 03Announce the outcome

Winning numbers are not published in advance. Results and winner notifications follow the arrangements in that promotion’s terms.

CONNECTED BEHIND THE SCENES

One connected journey.
Two distinct roles.

SafeDraw connects the experience. TPAL provides the government-certified random draw engine. Explore the role of each system in both draw formats.

Instant win: allocations are fixed before entries open. The connected systems then support each entry and its interactive reveal through SafeDraw.

Provider’s systems

It starts with the promotion you enter.

You enter through the promotion provider’s system. SafeDraw connects to that provider’s technology to support the entry and order journey.

01

Your entry is securely recorded.

When a customer enters a draw, every entry is logged securely with a timestamp. This creates a record of the entry from the outset.

02

Independent randomness supports the outcome.

TPAL supplies the random number generation. In the SafeDraw preallocated instant-win format, allocations are fixed before entries open. In a regular draw, selection takes place from the eligible entry pool at the stated draw time.

03

The result is presented and recorded.

SafeDraw presents the outcome through a customer-facing experience and records it with a timestamp. Instant-win outcomes are available during the promotion; regular draw results follow the scheduled draw and the promotion’s terms. Product entries and results are retained for audit for three years.

THE INSTANT-WIN EXPERIENCE

Instant win.
Connected through an API.

An Instant Win API is a connection between systems that supports an outcome during the promotion, without waiting for a later scheduled draw.

SafeDraw connects the provider’s technology to TPAL, supports the entry and order journey, and presents an interactive result. TPAL supplies the independent random draw engine.

For promotion providers, this connection is built for low latency and high throughput: keeping order processing, RNG requests and result delivery moving with minimal delay as demand grows. Secure connections and traceable records support the process behind a smooth instant-win experience.

Fixed numbers. A result you can reveal.

In the SafeDraw instant-win experience described here, every prize is pre-allocated to a winning entry number before the first entry. The allocation is made by the same government-certified random number generator used to create entry tickets. Those allocations remain unchanged.

Winning prize entry numbers are displayed so entrants can see which instant-win prizes are available. This entry-number mechanism is separate from a regular draw.

REGULAR DRAWS

A pool of eligible entries.
A draw at the specified time.

In a regular draw, entries are collected for random selection at the draw time set out in the promotion’s terms.

SafeDraw connects the provider’s systems to TPAL’s regular draw system. TPAL performs the random selection from the eligible entry pool. SafeDraw then presents and records the returned result.

There is no list of fixed winning entry numbers to reveal before the draw. The winners are determined through the draw itself. The promotion’s terms explain the closing time, eligibility, draw schedule, winner notification, publication and prize claim arrangements.

A promotion can have one draw or a series of scheduled draws. Its terms should make clear which draw an entry is eligible for.

RESULTS & REVEALS

Know when to expect
your result.

SafeDraw brings instant-win results to life through fast, interactive reveals, including 3D scenes and rendered animation. The animation presents the outcome; it does not select or change it.

Instant-win reveals and regular draw announcements follow different timelines. Check the format and terms of the promotion you entered.

Live

Instant-win prize availability

In the SafeDraw instant-win experience, prize updates appear in real time as they are claimed, so entrants can see which prizes remain available.

7 days

Instant-win automatic reveal

SafeDraw automatically reveals unrevealed instant-win results after seven days. Any prize claim steps and deadlines are explained in the promotion’s terms.

For regular draws, results follow the scheduled draw. Winner notification and publication happen as set out in the promotion’s terms; the seven-day instant-win reveal does not apply.

AFTER THE OUTCOME

The result is recorded.
The trail remains.

Product entries and results are timestamped and traceable, creating records that support a review of the process.

Product entry and result records are retained for audit for three years. Website enquiry and subscription details are handled separately, as explained in our privacy notice.
