AT A GLANCE

The SafeDraw instant-win sequence

  1. 01

    Prizes are allocated

Winning entry numbers and prize allocations are fixed before the first entry.

  2. 02

    Your result is revealed

The interactive experience displays the result; unrevealed results open automatically after seven days.

  3. 03

    You follow the claim steps

A winning result may require further action under the organiser’s terms.

THE KEY POINT

In SafeDraw’s preallocated instant-win format, winning entry numbers are fixed before entries open. The reveal shows the result. A regular draw uses a different process, with selection at the stated draw time.

Allocation comes first

In SafeDraw’s preallocated instant-win format, winning entry numbers and prize allocations are set before the first entry and remain unchanged. The interactive experience lets participants see the result associated with their entry.

SafeDraw calls TPAL for random number generation, connects the relevant systems and presents the result. TPAL supplies the random number generation. The organiser’s terms explain the promotion itself, including who can enter and the conditions attached to prizes.

Explaining these stages openly gives a promoter a straightforward way to answer a common question: what has already been determined, and what is happening when I open my result?

The reveal shows the outcome

The reveal displays your instant-win result; it does not change the preallocated prizes or select a new outcome. Read the result text and accompanying instructions so you know whether further action is needed.

SafeDraw provides timestamped records of product entries and results. Keep your entry reference and any result confirmation available to you. These details can help the support team find the relevant event if you need assistance.

If the page stops loading or you are unsure whether a result has appeared, note the time and what you saw. Contact the support team listed for the promotion with those details.

Understand the seven-day automatic reveal

In this SafeDraw instant-win format, unrevealed results are automatically revealed after seven days. Your result becomes visible even if you have not completed the interactive reveal yourself. This feature is separate from the timing of a regular draw.

Revealing a result and claiming a prize are separate actions. Read the terms for any requirement to confirm details, provide evidence or respond by a deadline. Automatic reveal does not itself complete those claim steps or arrange delivery.

If you have been away from your email or the promotion page, check your result and the claim instructions together. Ask the organiser promptly if you need help understanding a deadline.

Read live availability in context

SafeDraw displays live prize availability for its instant-win experience so you can see remaining prizes. Use that information alongside the terms; an available prize does not mean your next entry will win.

If you receive a winning result, follow the published claim process. A clear explanation of remaining prizes, results and claims helps both entrants and the organiser keep track of what happens next.

Where the Instant Win API fits

An API is the connection that lets one system send a request to another and receive a response. An Instant Win API allows a promotion’s connected experience to request and receive an instant-win outcome without asking the entrant to use a separate drawing website.

TPAL’s public Instant Win API describes a time-based selection mechanism. That description should be read separately from the fixed entry-number allocation in the SafeDraw format explained here. Instant-win mechanisms can differ: check the promotion’s terms for the one being used.

A regular draw works differently again. Eligible entries form a pool, and TPAL’s Electronic Draw System performs random selection at the stated draw time. There is no preallocated list of winning entry numbers to reveal in that process.
